Terms and Conditions

I have a few simple Terms and Conditions, payment of a deposit represents an agreement to the following.

The Law...

All customers must be over 18 years old and be able to photographic provide I.D such as a  driving license or valid current passport.

No one under 18 is allowed in the studio.

No alcohol or drugs (other than prescription medication) to have been taken prior to or during the tattoo procedure. If you are unsure please ask.

You will be asked to sign a disclaimer before tattooing.

Appointments and Deposits ...

Appointments.

Please be prompt and prepared for your appointment.

If you know you are going to be late please phone me to let me know and to check that I can still complete the work agreed that day. my number is 07939 329 369.

Please do NOT use this number for general contact or enquiries. I don't always get time to look at my emails everyday and am also not working everyday, but I will get back to you as soon as I can.

If you are more than 30 minutes late for your appointment, I will not be able to guarantee that I will have time to complete the tattoo and I reserve the right to charge the lost time at my current hourly rate in addition to the agreed costs of the tattoo.

Please try to eat before you come to the studio, I generally don't stop for lunch while I'm working. However I don't have an issue with drinks and some snacks being eaten to keep your blood sugar level up. This usually isn't a problem as I try to keep the maximum length of tattooing to 4 hours at a time.

I don't mind if you bring someone with you but the studio is not big so I cannot accommodate more than one person and they must be over 18. They must remain seated while I am tattooing.

Deposits.

Deposits are NON refundable.

Deposits will be lost if you don't show up or if you cancel your appointment with less than 72 hours notice even if the appointment is rebooked for another time. A new deposit will need to be taken to book you back in.

Deposits expire after 1 year from the date paid if no tattoo work has been started within that time.

If after starting a piece of work there is a significant gap in tattooing ( 2 years ore more) I will ask for a top up amount to be paid towards the deposit in order to book in to finish it. This will bring the deposit up to a current level.

Appointments can only be booked by paying a deposit.

No design work will be carried out without a deposit being paid.

A separate deposit will be required for each tattoo being completed even if they are being done in the same appointment.

The amount of deposit required varies based on how many appointments are needed and how much design and planning preparation work needs to be done.

Deposits are deducted from your final sitting if more than one is needed.

Touch In's...

I will happily touch in my work after it has had 1 month of healing and up to 3 months afterwards for no additional charge.

This does not apply to tattoos done on hands, feet, elbows or knees. I cannot offer free touch in's on work that is done as a cover up or rework of an existing tattoo as it is difficult to judge the effectiveness of a tattoo as a cover up/rework  until it is healed.

This also doesn't apply to factors outside of my control such as surgery, infection, accidental damage etc. Normal charges will apply, calculated on a time taken and materials used based on my hourly rate at the time of the touch in.

Your Health...

There are some situations in which it isn't a good idea to get tattooed. Minor ailments such as coughs and colds may seem trivial but will affect your ability to sit still for a tattoo, coughing and sneezing don't work well with tattooing. Other obvious skin problems such as sunburn and conditions that cause broken , sore or weeping skin clearly cannot be tattooed.

Ongoing medical treatment which requires you to be on medication regular such as being on blood thinning medication may cause problems but please check with me, some situations can be managed.

There are also some situations in which I will not tattoo you, being pregnant or having epilepsy. This is not a full list of situations in which tattooing may either be tricky or not advisable. If you are unsure please seek a doctors advise first and be honest with me.  I cannot be held responsible for the outcome of a tattoo if I am unaware of a situation which could effect the application or healing of a tattoo.

Please also bear in mind that if you do need to rearrange an appointment due to any reason please give me at least 72 hours notice where possible to avoid losing the deposit.

General...

I reserve the right to alter these conditions.
